Now that we have completed our provincial tour, I now wait with great anticipation for this coming September when each of the fifteen communities will present their original three minute video showcasing their corner of British Columbia.
Of course the tough work now rests with each of the 15 Spirit Committees to pull it all together over the next several months to capture what makes their region so unique and to pique the interest of visitors coming from all parts of the world prior to and during the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games. My colleagues and I know, after having visited each of the communities, that the enthusiasm and desire to wow the world about all that BC has to offer, exists with everyone we met with and made cheque presentations to.
Stay tuned and mark your calendars for September 2009 when the videos will appear on this site and on selected screens at Vancouver International Airport.
