I have had two occassions in the past month when I have had someone pick me up at the airport on arrival. Both times I asked them to check the arrival times on the YVR website before leaving for the airport which is 20 minutes from home. The first time I came in one hour before the scheduled arrival time. The second time I came in one hour after the scheduled time. The second time I knew on departure that we were arriving late- that was 7 hours before arriving. . YVR does not update its website. I was listening to CBC this morning and someone advised checking the YVR airport website. Do not rely on the the website as IT IS NOT UPDATED.

I’m sorry to hear you had confusion with the website. The tool that displays the flight information pulls data from the various airlines’ systems, so when an airline updates the flight time, it automatically gets updated on the website. The flight information tool regularly re-populates itself with the latest data available from the airlines.
