As of 11:30 on December 27, flights to the U.S. were experiencing some delays.
US-bound passengers should be aware of the following:
- Passengers can expect to undergo a personal search (pat down) and have all of their personal belongings examined
- Passengers are restricted to one carry-on bag only…this is being strictly enforced by CATSA (Canadian Air Transport Security Authority)
- Passengers are encouraged to check www.yvr.ca for the status of their flight and with their airline for check in times
- US-bound passengers can expect some delays as the additional screening does take more time; however we are working closely with our partners to keep these delays to a minimum
