Sochi Olympic Organizing Committee Arrives at YVR

There was excitement at YVR on February 6 when the Russian Olympic Organizing Committee for Sochi 2014 arrived. Coming in on an Aeroflot aircraft, an airline that doesn’t usually come to YVR, hundreds of Sochi committee members flowed into the Arrivals area. Dmitry Chernyshenko, President and CEO for Sochi 2014 – the next city to host the Winter Olympics - held a quick press conference at the Haida Gwaii.
