March 1 is expected to be YVR’s busiest day ever with an estimated 39,000 passengers and 77,000 bags departing Vancouver. If you are departing on March 1st, please arrive four hours prior to your flight to ensure that you have enough time to check-in and go through security. While we anticipate a busy day, we don’t recommend that you arrive any earlier than four hours before your flight so that airport facilities are ready to process you in a timely fashion.

- 3 hours before your flight: Check-in your bags and be at screening
