About YVRConnections.com
Vancouver Airport Authority is a community-based, not-for-profit organization that has managed and developed Vancouver International Airport since 1992 under the provisions of a long-term lease with the Government of Canada. The Airport Authority has no shareholders and reinvests all earnings into airport development and service improvements.
YVRConnections.com is a chance for us at the Airport Authority to have a conversation with you and to give you a heads up of what’s going on here at the airport in the lead up to 2010. We’ll also share some cool stuff about the airport and want to hear about your stories and see your photos of YVR. Airports are cool places and since YVR is B.C.’s airport, hey, why not have a chat about the cool stuff that’s going on.
So here’s where we insert the fine print about posting to the site. YVRConnections.com moderates comments to ensure that we’re keeping on topic (or at least trying to) and to negate any racial, slanderous, profane or otherwise nasty comments. Any such comments will not be posted. We’ll try our best to keep the conversation flowing by providing differing opinions; we ask that comments be constructive to the blog post. YVRConnections.com is managed and updated by Vancouver Airport Authority employees with various jobs throughout the airport from human resources, to communications, to operations, customer service and IT.
